Pilatus Cogwheel
From 26 November until 2 December 2016, ten agents who have successfully completed the Swiss Travel Pass SuperStar program will head off on a famil taking in Christmas markets in Zurich, Basel and Montreux; exploring the cities of Bern and Lucerne, ascending the Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe, and Mount Pilatus and hopping on the GoldenPass Panoramic train.
Congratulations to Kathy Thomaidis from MTA Travel QLD; Evaldas Savickas and Annwen Rowe from Flight Centre QLD; Angela Kaluzyn from Skilled Travel NSW; Andy Webber from Discovery Travel Centre NSW; Jennifer Mikkelsen from Travel Counsellors VIC; Selese Rowe from You Travel NZ; Janine Mallon from The Travel Brokers NZ; Brianna Rotteveel from Rail Plus and Kalinda Franklin from Rail Tickets.
And, from 1 January 2017, travellers to Switzerland can now hop on the world’s steepest cogwheel railway, near Lucerne, as part of their Swiss Travel Pass experience. The historical cogwheel ride is part of the Mount Pilatus experience, which includes the aerial panorama gondola from Kriens to Fräkmüntegg and the aerial cableway (aka Dragon Ride) – both of which will also be covered by the Swiss Travel Pass from 2017.
