CIT has released its 2016 Europe Rail Brochure with something for independent travellers, families, solo travellers, seniors and groups.
Highlights include flexible rail passes and ticket options for single or multi-country travel, along with European city stays and cultural experiences.
“There are lots of reasons to travel Europe by train. And many of the world’s great rail journeys are in Europe,” said CIT rail supervisor Sheryll Bautista.
• NEW Eurail 22 day consecutive and 5 & 7 day flex global pass – choice of 28 European countries. Eurail select pass – 2, 3 or 4 bordering country passes plus single country pass for Italy, France, Germany, Britain and of course Switzerland;
• High speed (& night) trains – Eurostar, TGV, Thalys and Italy’s Italo (NTV) and Trenitalia’s ‘red and silver arrow’ trains – Frecciarossa & Frecciargento – linking major European cities in under 3 hours;
• NEW Swiss scenic rail including Jungfraujoch, Bernina Express and Glacier Express – with excellent value, tailored Swiss packages including rail tours and hotel stays;
• Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, arguably the world’s most famous train – travel from London/Paris to Venice (and beyond) in classic style.
